AI-Law is building retrieval software for small legal practices. It searches the executed contracts a firm already holds and shows you where a term sits. It does not draft. It does not advise. Nothing has shipped.
1What the software is meant to do
Scope note // retrieval only
A practice of four solicitors can hold several thousand executed agreements across a document management system, a shared drive and an old email archive. Every one of those documents was negotiated by somebody, signed by somebody, and is binding on somebody today. The hard part is almost never the law. The hard part is finding the exact paragraph, in the version that was actually executed, before the client rings back.
AI-Law is being built to answer that one question and no other. You ask in ordinary language, for example which supplier agreements cap liability at twelve months of fees. The software returns passages that match, each attributed to a named document, an execution date and a position inside that document, so a solicitor can open the source and read the whole clause in a few seconds.
Every result is a pointer to text the firm already holds. There is no paraphrase standing in for the clause, no suggested wording, no opinion about what a term means, and no confident summary sitting between a practitioner and the document they are responsible for.
Plainly
The whole product is a search box over a firm's own signed paper. If that sounds narrow, it is meant to. Narrow is the only version of this that a regulated profession should be asked to trust.
2Four things it does not do
These are not disclaimers buried in a footer. They are the design brief. Software sold into a regulated profession is assumed to do all four unless it says otherwise, so this page says otherwise.

It does not give legal advice
Nothing the software returns is advice, and nothing on this website is advice. A retrieved passage is evidence of what a document says. Whether it applies, whether it is enforceable and what should be done about it are questions for a lawyer with the file in front of them.

It does not draft
There is no clause generator, no letter builder and no autocomplete for contract language. The software has no facility for producing text that a firm might sign or send. It can only show you words that already exist in a document you gave it.

It does not predict outcomes
No score for the strength of a case, no estimate of what a court would do, no likelihood attached to a dispute. Retrieval ranking says which passage best matches the words you typed. It says nothing whatever about who would win.

It is not a substitute for a lawyer
If you are not a lawyer and you are looking for one, this is the wrong website. The software is a filing tool for practitioners who already have the professional obligations, the insurance and the judgement that the work requires.
3Where the company actually stands
Registered in 2026. Everything below is the honest state of it, written out rather than left to be inferred from an absence.

- Nothing published. No download, no hosted service, no private beta, no waiting list and no early access programme.
- Customers
- None. No firm has used this software, because there is not yet any software for a firm to use.
- Revenue
- None to date. The company has invoiced nobody and holds no client money of any kind.
- Certifications
- None. AI-LAW PTY LTD does not hold ISO/IEC 27001 certification, a SOC 2 report of either type, an IRAP assessment or any other independent security accreditation, and will not represent otherwise until one is genuinely held.
- Practising status
- AI-LAW PTY LTD is not an incorporated legal practice. It holds no practising certificate, it has no principal who is an Australian legal practitioner, and it does not engage in legal practice.
- Awards and press
- None. There is no logo wall on this site because there is nothing true to put on one.

We do not publish a street address on this website. If a document has to be served on the company, its registered office is recorded against ACN 698 421 608 on the register maintained by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, and that is the address with legal effect for service.
5If you want to be told when there is something to look at
There is no sign up form on this website, because a form that quietly builds a mailing list is exactly the sort of thing a company should not do to a profession that takes confidentiality seriously. There is one mailbox, it is read by a person, and writing to it does not subscribe you to anything.
If you run a small practice and you are willing to describe how you currently find a clause in an executed contract, that is genuinely useful and we would like to hear it. If you want to be told when something exists, say so in the message and we will note the address for that purpose only.
